CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

  • A deposit is required to secure your room.
  • All deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated.
  • Full payment of the cost of your booking is due on arrival (less deposit paid)

Payment method:

  • Cash
  • Credit cards: a 2.5% charge will be added to the total bill
  • Debit cards: No charges apply
  • Cheques: We can only accept payment by cheque with cheque guarantee card if it is received a minimum of 7 days prior to your arrival.
  • Telephone/email reservations will be held for up to 7 days pending receipt of deposit cheque.
  • Cheques should be made payable to Charterhouse Hotel

Cancellation Charges:
 

For cancellation within 48 hours of the date of commencement of the holiday or for 'no shows' the total cost of the holiday will be charged.
Holiday Insurance to safeguard the cost of your holiday is recommended.

The card holder is responsible for full payment of the booking and we reserve the right to charge any outstanding amount to the card holder's card without further recourse to the cardholder.    Please note no reduction will be made for early departure.

Any damage to or removal of hotel property will be chargeable and must be paid for in full.  In accepting the booking the cardholder is responsible for room(s) booked by him and gives authorisation for his card to be charged for any loss/damage incurred whether by himself or his guests.  Replacement will be at current market values for that item.

Check-in times:

We do not have a 24 hour reception so it would be greatly appreciated if you could telephone/email to advise your estimated time of arrival.
Accommodation is available from 2pm until 6pm (Late check-in after 6pm by prior arrangement). Please confirm by telephone or email your estimated time of arrival.

Accommodation must be vacated by 11.00am on day of departure and all keys returned to reception.

Children:
We welcome families but would ask that parents take extra care not to let their children wander around the hotel unattended. Special attention should be taken to ensure the children do not enter the swimming pool area unattended.

Pets:
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only. Please enquire by telephone at the time of booking.
We have limited availability for guests who bring their dogs using our independently accessed Garden Rooms. Dogs are not allowed in the main Hotel and should not be left unattended in the Hotel room, unless it is for a short break whilst you are having breakfast etc. Dogs should have their own appropriate bedding and should be kept off the furniture.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate Stag and Hen parties.

We are a non-smoking Hotel.
